NC Farmer’s Market

Summertime means the NC Farmer’s Market is buzzing. Raleigh is lucky enough to have the state’s only farmer’s market that’s open year round, 7 days a week. Everyday farmers from across the state drive to Raleigh to sell beautiful produce, fresh flowers and specialty items like cookies and jams. The main building holds 30,000 square feet of almost every seasonal fruit and vegetable you can imagine. Right now crisp cucumbers, sweet tomatoes and juicy peaches and strawberries are all in season. You can eat brunch at the State Farmer’s Market restaurant and then walk over and do your weekly grocery shopping. It’s a great way to support our local farmers and stock up on healthy, fresh-picked produce.
